The objective of this workshop is to develop professional working knowledge in accounting to the employees who have academic degree in Management.
The accounting world of the 21st century has been shaken by globalization, accounting software and changes in financial regulation. The shake-ups have given the field a whole new set of challenges, but they also offer opportunities for accountants who can adapt to them.
Accounting isn't going away. A recent research projects a 13 percent growth in the field from 2012 to 2022, equal to the average growth of all job fields. Corporations have to prepare financial statements for investors. Companies dealing with tighter financial regulations need accountants to navigate the new standards. Businesses that borrow money need auditors to prove their credit worthiness. The larger the company, the more complex the finances and the greater the need for someone to balance the books.
Further, as we are all aware that Nepal Financial Reporting Standards issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal is in the implementation stage. Therefore, KFA is planning to conduct a workshop to deliberate, discuss, understand and review, amongst and to the benefit of all the participants, significant technical requirements/ issues related to implementation of Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRSs).
