BEING US

Objective:

The objective of this workshop is to extend understanding of the supervisor’s role and the processes of managing up, down and across the organization.

Background:

The program covers a wide range of topics relating to the supervisors’ role. It recognizes that supervisors not only have to manage their teams but also have to operate in a wider organizational context getting things done through, with and for other teams and departments. Insights developed during the program will be a particularly useful for second-line supervisors who themselves may have to manage the development of newly appointed supervisors.

The heart of high-performance organizations is teamwork and collaboration. Such Organizations are invariably team-based, if not always in structure (teams), then in spirit (teamwork). They understand that teams are complex, expensive entities and have no merit outside the objectives they are designed to achieve. These organizations measure team effectiveness by one criterion: the organization's overall results. We provide an array of unique & highly effective strategies, tools & training initiatives that build effective teams & high levels of collaboration.

The current challenge for human resources planners is in developing the appropriate leadership as well as building high performing teams that serves the organization now and in the future. The need to create a work environment where people are motivated enough to exceed job requirements in order to satisfy job needs becomes paramount. An environment where individuals display self-motivation and a positive attitude to work and leadership is overly conducive to success and profitability.
